In memory of Adam Tyler Bleken 

Mark lost his son, Adam, in May 2021.

He wanted to tell his story in hopes of reaching even one parent with the information that could help prevent their story from becoming the next tragedy.

Adam Tyler Bleken passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at his home in Butte. He was born in Butte Tuesday, October 11, 1988 to Mark and Dee (McCleery) Bleken.

Adam attended local schools and earned his Eagle Scout Badge in Boy Scouts in 2006. He graduated from Butte High School in 2007 where he excelled in sports, was the state high jump champion and loved football. He loved fishing, camping and all outdoor activities as well as playing pool with his friends and teammates.

He loved his new job with the Butte Water Company and the guys that he worked with but his girls, Addie, Kamber and Maela were the apple of his eye! Besides his beloved daughters, Adam is also survived by his wife and best friend, Katie, his parents, Mark and Dee Bleken, his mother and father-in-law, Shawn and Steve Sharkey, brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Steffani Bleken, sister and brother-in-law, Machel and Dwayne Sweeney, sister, Susie Bleken, brother-in-law, Mathew Sharkey, sisters-in-law, Erin and Kyle Schureg and Alison and D. J. Sharkey-Hines. Other survivors include his "Nana" Sharkey his grandparents, Vern and Gayle Bleken as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins..
